A postdoctoral or a research professor position is currently available in the Condensed Matter Theory Group led by Prof. Jun-Won Rhim at the Ajou University, Department of Physics.
We are interested in a wide range of subjects of quantum condensed matter theory. We are mainly interested in the following topics: Topological phases, flat band systems, strongly correlated electron systems, photonic crystals, and non-equilibrium phenomena. More specifically, novel properties of flat band systems are our major concern currently as shown in our recent publications(Nature 584, 59, Phys. Rev. Lett. 124 183901). The position will be initially for two years with a possibility of some extension. The salary would be 40000k-60000k Korean Won per year according to qualifications.
