□ Those with or expected to receive their Doctoral degrees in the relevant majors by starting date at KIAS
□ Qualified under “State Public Officials Act” of Korean Government.
(Disqualifying factors are listed in Article 33.)
□ Those with no restrictions to international travel, and for Korean male citizens, those who have completed or have been exempted from compulsory military service

□ The initial appointment for QUC Research Fellow is for two years with the possibility of a one-time renewal of two or three additional years depending on the research performance and the needs of the research program at KIAS.
□ The actual period of appointment can be adjusted if the research program requires such adjustments.

Salary & Benefits
|
□ The annual salary and other benefits are provided in accordance with KIAS regulations.
- The annual salary starts from 45,397,000 Korean Won (including 4 major social insurances) with additional severance pay.
- An individual research grant(Up to 10,000,000 Korean Won) and a benefit card(2,000,000 Korean Won) will be provided each year.
□ Benefits include the coverage of 4 major social insurances; national pension, health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance.
