Chung-Ang University (CAU) Neutrino Physics Group will be hiring one or two postdoctoral researchers before September 1, 2023. This position is awarded for two years with a grant from the National Research Foundation of Korea. Either young researchers or mid-career researchers can be considered. Applicants with the following research interests are encouraged to apply:
- Analysis of DUNE and ProtoDUNE
- Neutrino-related phenomenology
The current group of the CAU Neutrino Lab is led by Professor Kim Siyeon and consists of one Postdoc and three graduate students. We participate in DUNE, NEOS and AMoRE collaborations. Our lab has worked on ND in the past at the DUNE Collaboration and plans to extend its contribution to FD Vertical Drift TPC and ProtoDUNE. CAU and Fermilab signed Cooperative R&D Agreement (iCRADA), and Siyeon Kim is the representative of the Korean DUNE member. Postdocs may perform partial on-site work at BNL, Fermilab or CERN depending on the project assigned. The Neutrino Lab is also the core laboratory of the CAU High-Energy Physics Center.
