Chung-Ang University (CAU) Theoretical High Energy Physics Group anticipates to hire a CAU postdoctoral fellow, with appointment starting from September 1, 2024. The position is awarded for two years by the grant of National Research Foundation in Korea, and it is extendible for one more year, depending on the research performances and the funding situation. Candidates with research interests in Dark matter, Inflation, Physics beyond the Standard Model, Collider phenomenology, and Model building for new phenomena, are encouraged to apply.
The current group in CAU THEP is composed of Prof. Hyun Min Lee, one postdoc fellow and five graduate students. Prof. Hyun Min Lee is the director of the CAU High Energy Physics Center, which is composed of other CAU professors working on dark matter, neutrino experiments, gravitational waves and intensity beam experiments. We also host the Brain Korea Four program for supporting young scientists in CAU. We are closely tied to Theory department in CERN, KIAS, IBS, other universities and institutes in Korea.
