    고등과학원은 우리나라 최초의 순수이론기초과학 연구기관으로, 한국의 기초과학을 세계적인 수준으로 끌어올리고자 1996년 10월에 설립된 과학기술정보통신부 산하 출연연구기관입니다. 현재 수학부, 물리학부, 계산과학부 세 개 학부로 구성되어 있으며, 총 20여 명의 교수진과 80여 명의 연구진이 순수과학 분야에서 세계 최고의 연구 성과를 일궈내고 있습니다.

     

    계산과학부에서는 국내/외 연구자 중 연구업적이 뛰어나며 세계적 리더십을 발휘할 수 있는 분 1인을 학부의 교수로 초빙하고자 합니다.

    3. 채용조건

    □ 고등과학원 인사규정 제8조에 따라 교수 초임 계약기간은 1년 이상 3년 이내로 하며, 이후 연구업적 평가에 따라 최대 7년 이내 재임용 계약이 가능함

    □ 국민연금, 건강보험, 고용보험, 산재보험 가입

    Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) was founded in 1996 by Korean Government to promote research excellence in the basic sciences. KIAS provides its members with a highly interactive, supportive, and dynamic research-friendly environment. Currently, KIAS is comprised of approximately 20 regular faculty members and 80 plus postdoctoral research fellows at the School of Mathematics, the School of Physics, and the School of Computational Sciences.

     

    The School of Computational Sciences is seeking outstanding faculty candidates for one full-time Professor position in one of the areas of Computational sciences.
