Dear members of the Korean Physical Society,
The 2022 KPS Spring Meeting will be held online from April 20 (Wed.) to April 22 (Fri.) in 2022. The conference program is now available on our websites below.
2022 KPS Spring Meeting
Entire Program (Oral & Poster Sessions)
The presenter of the KPS Spring Meeting should check the program and email us (abstracts@kps.or.kr) by April 1 (Fri.) if there is any change in the presentation schedule or modifications in the abstract. (Abstract revision is restricted to minor typo corrections and reordering of the authors.)
Members who have registered for the 2022 KPS Spring Meeting can participate in the oral session during the conference (April 20-22) and the poster session for the period of April 18-22 as detailed below.
You can access the oral presentation session from our website. First, click on the session you want to attend according to the Oral Session Program. Then, access the Zoom Meeting Room by clicking the "Virtual Conference" button. Both oral presenters and participants enter the virtual room in the same way. The contributed presentations are scheduled for 12 minutes (10 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for Q&A), and the invited speaker presentations are scheduled for 24 minutes, 36 minutes, or 60 minutes.
You can participate the poster presentation session through following two ways:
(1) Poster presentation on the website: go to ‘Program > Entire Programs > Poster Sessions’ on the website of 2022 KPS Spring Meeting and click on the session you want to attend. Then it will show the list of poster presentation titles along with the abstracts and by clicking “presentation” button, you can check the presentation materials and listen to the audio file that summarizes the contents of the poster. This poster presentation on the website is open from 12:00 on April 18 (Mon.) to 18:00 on April 22 (Fri.), and Q&A will be processed through the comment window.
(2) Metaverse Poster Presentation: we newly introduce a metaverse poster and exhibition platform in this meeting. In other to access the metaverse, first you go to ‘Program > Entire Programs > Poster Sessions’ on the website of 2022 KPS Spring Meeting and click on any poster session. By clicking “Virtual Conference” button on the right top of a poster session page, you can join into the metaverse building that KPS built. The poster presenter who is assigned to the session P1(P2) must make a real time presentation (including answering questions) in his/her poster booth place inside the metaverse building from 18:10 to 19:30 on April 20. (17:10 to 18:30, April 21). You can find the assigned times for the 'Metaverse-Poster Presentation’ session on the website (Program > Entire Programs > Poster Sessions).
There will be random prize draws at 18:00 on April 21(Thursday) for the participants who visited all exhibition booths in the metaverse. We will continue to inform you of the important announcements related to the 2022 KPS Spring Meeting through News & Notice in the conference website.
